Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Question about CD and static files

First let me say this is NOT a piracy question. I legitimately own the game and have so since it's release.

I seem to get lag whenever the game wants to access the game disc. I did a MAX install but it looks like some of the static files are still there and not on the hard drive.

Is there anyway to copy those files to the hard drive and get the game to ignore the CD?
