After freeing the historian in the maze, if you go through the gargoyle portal in his area to retrieve the skull, as a dwarf, you can not get out of the area. Trying to click on the gargoyle to leave simply says "can not reach". Forces you to reload, repeat the fight, and take in a taller character to be able to get the skull and chest.
