Try making a new named save, and then seeing if the procedure in the
FIX for broken Imp Council Member quest topic helps.
I don't recall this coming up again. If you email me a save (raze@larian.com) or email/post a Dropbox or Google Drive link, etc, I can take a look at it.
Each save is a folder in the in '..\SteamApps\common\divine_divinity\savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'.
