Our only issue with this fight was: You got far to much exp regarding how weak those voidlings are.
Of course you should not fight them in close combat. Use barrels to lock passages, use spells and arrows to keep them away, even warrior should have enough knockdowns to keep them from closing in to fast. They are easily cc'able.
If you are prepared for the fight, it can be quite boring.
