When attempting to use an ability sometimes the animation will occur, but nothing else. No effect happens, no action points are consumed, the cooldown is not incurred, etc.
E.g. in combat I use Flesh Sacrifice and immediately use Rage or Crippling Blow, and only the animation occurs. Since the cooldown doesn't get taken, I then just cast it again, and it then works.
Once when this happened combat froze and wouldn't proceed.
