Current dialog interface feels rusty. In fact, pretty the same interface used Baldurs gate about 15 years ago.
Well, the DOS series looks to me a lot about emotions, story, interaction and comunication.
I think that better interface should come. The main guality I am curently missing is personal touch. Characters who talk are not very visible, sometimes are even off screen. Like really? In a game which rely on story you talk 15 minutes to an NPC which didn't fit to the screen ? Watch any TV soap opera, these are experts on build up emmotions or intouch feeling. Every dialog is about DETAIL faces or nice scenes where BOTH partners are fully visible.
DOS2 made quite a leap in graphic quality, some dialog interface with nice big characters would fit. Tip : Guild Wars 2. There are 2 nice big models on a screen with a text in the middle of the screen, perfect layout ... .
