Not entirely sure what has happened, but my honor mode save file appears to have become corrupted after a power outage affected my entire house. Normally each save file is accompanied by a small-scale screenshot of where you last saved the game, but in this case the image file can't be opened by any image viewing software and the save file is nowhere to be found when I open up the game's 'load game' menu.
Fortunately I did have an older save file stored somewhere else (cheating scum, I know
) that I replaced the corrupt file with, but none the less I feel this is a strange occurrence that I didn't even know was possible and I thought it'd be a good idea to inform others.
Aside from keeping back up saves elsewhere, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening in the future?
