Just beat the game, really fun game. But yea I'm not ever gonna play it again, the endgame is insanely tedious and the ending is terrible imo. Also gameplay really needs to be looked at (balance), when you kill hordes of guys no problem then die in one hit to the "boss"... that's just wrong. But still a great game and thanks for all the help and stuff various people gave me. Hope there's a sequel.

Yes, I hope there ia sequel too! Played it threw 2 times.[you've got a point]The last part was a big build up to a ending, that well I thought would have been more. But I'm glad I got this game and now enjoying the board. In the mean time I've fired up Diablo again. As a single player.Heard to much bad stuff about playing on line.

I agree with you about the last dungeon, I could hardly believe it. Just one of those maze like areas would be cool enough, but having to do 4 or 5 of them, extremely repetitive and tedious. It seems like someone ran out of ideas and did a copy/paste job within the game world editor. The gargoyles were cool though; I especially liked their death animations. Its just that you end up killing a couple hundred of them, or just give up and run past them.
The game isn't very well balanced at all. Its easy to make a character so powerful that combat with anything but a few bosses is trivial. And at least 1/3 of the skills are either useless or made redundant by higher lvl skills. I didn't use my survivor's special move (sneak) once in the entire game. And when the divine skills were made available, what did it matter? My standard attack with my bow killed non-boss creatures with 3-6 arrows.
The first dungeon under Aleorth is a big mistake in size and difficulty, and I'm sure it put many beginning players off the game completely.
Still, I enjoyed the game, and just with the artwork alone its obvious alot of hard work has been put into the game. The humor was good in a few places as well. I hope they do make a sequel.

yes i agree i almost quit the game and returned it to the store when playing the catacombs under aleroth, it was just too big a dungeon to be in the absolute beginning of a game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/down.gif" alt="" />

Just finished it as well... and can definitely say that everything before becoming The Divine One was awesome. The game was simply massive and there were tons of areas to explore and people to meet. With that said, everything -after- becoming The Divine One and traveling to the wastelands was dull, boring, and rushed.
I hate it when any game prevents you from travelling back into parts of the game you just spent the past week to explore, only to offer up a dull questless area as a replacement. The ending was also fairly sudden...

Have you played the rest of the game?

Actually my opinion is: there are some unbalanced skills! i maxed Deadly gift (scorpion) and aura of command and i can say that going around with 5 500Lvl steel scorpions makes the game really really easy! (especially if you get all resistances over 150, so you wont be hit by most of spells)
anyway a great Game! Bye all
