You've mentioned some very good points what an rpg should be about - only to follow that with , in my opinion, some very bad games that are labled as "rpg's".
Divinity Original Sin is actually a very good rpg - both the first one and the second one.
Dark Souls and Bloodborn are good games but not what I would lable as a RPG.
Elderscroll games are also something that I wouldn't count as a "true" RPG. ( people will problably hate me for saying that )
You seem to be more interested into action-rpgs that have little focus on story and character developement and mostly focus on combat/gameplay mechanics.
Maybe you should try Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4?
