If you ignore Gareth at the end (who is the most unpleasant person in this game so far IMO) and kill the Bishop, the worm and so on you can leave the Island.

If you pop back up the stairs though the guy just keeps asking if you are ready for battle and who you would like to help you. No-one comes to help (as there is no-one to fight).

There should be a dialogue option "it is OK I've already killed them all" or some such. Perhaps they should all just run away for the boat as that is what they normally do.

It get's worse. I had him spawn the last 2 patches AFTER the fight and after everyone was certainly dead. Only to attack me and call me traitor! At first I thought maybe he walked in my extended firezone and got damage, but the last patch showed it even happened without any damage from any source.

That's strange given the existence of Alexander, Dallis, Kniles the Flenser, Radeka, the Houndmaster, Griff and others I might have forgotten.

Well, as they say, the ones you hate most are the ones you can't kill.

OK, wrong word. I meant annoying rather than unpleasant.

He is incompetent and weak. You have to keep healing him to stop him killing himself as his idea of fighting seems to be to bounce around with Phoenix Dive and hope for the best. If you do anything wrong though (like stun him or set him on fire by mistake) he turns on you seemingly oblivious to the fact you have spent every turn keeping him alive.

Radeka I love - whoever wrote that bit of dialogue is fabulous. Obviously you are supposed to kill her but sometimes I think I'd rather stop in the cave and let the rest of them get on with it... Guess I'd miss out on act 2 though if I did that though. Do please excuse me - I must go and spit out the bees again...

You can definitely kill him though. I did it on accident, and had to reload my save because I hadn't even noticed I had killed him, and I wanted him to be alive to give the seekers hope.

The main plot at least is usually made, so that you could kill everyone and still continue, if they keep that concept.
