After killing the witch Radeka, if you go to talk to the dragon (after agreeing to save the dragon from her) the dialog does not give you an option to tell Slane that you have killed Radeka. This means, I cannot do anything to help Slane the Winter Dragon anymore because the witch is dead. This is most unfortunate, because the only way to get xp from this part of the story would be to kill him. Personally, I believe this is a bug and should be fixed.

Have you broken the chains attaching him to the pillars? He has no dialogue until you do that. I've killed Radeka first and then spoken to Slane on a couple of play-throughs and been able to free him, so the dialogue options are definitely there; if they still aren't appearing once he's able to speak it sounds like it might be a bug.

Yes i have broken the chains. I spoke to him, broke the chains then killed the witch.

Hmm, that's odd, then. There should definitely be a speech option about you having Radeka's wand. Assuming you have Radeka's wand, that is.

I am also facing the same issue. The dragon does not seem to acknowledge that i am carrying the wand. I don want to kill the dragon but looks like i have no choice.

Do you have the wand equipped? It needs to be in the inventory.

Try dropping the Wand of the Witch Radeka, talk to Slane, pick up the wand with your main character and try talking to him again (if you didn't already).

I've freed the dragon, got the quest, killed Radeka, finished the quest. - encountered no problems.

Just got frustrated when Slane decided to return his favor in easy situation when I was purging wand on the things just before Alexander fight.
The frustration part is in that's triggering scripted, even without any danger for me...
It's better to kill Slane I guess.
