Like All In, Sucker Punch, Staff of Magus, etc.

Melee/Wand is currently somewhat support within the game, in that skills will hit with both weapons, making for varied damage.

However, basic attacks currently do not. Basic attacks only use the weapon in your main hand, if it's a wand you shoot it and ignore the melee, if it's melee you ignore the wand.

As a fellow game designer, I can understand that it would be weird trying to handle animations and other weird logistic issues with using both weapons.

My suggestion is to just give a unique melee range ability while holding melee/wand. Could be used once a turn like other abilities, but would make use of both weapons.
