3.0.33: I was fighting the arena battle under fort joy. My party killed all enemies except the dog. I kept one enemy alive, so I can open the chests in the arena. The dog was CCed when the other enemies were alive. When he was alone, I skipped my turns exept for the char who ran to the chests (I did not have abilities that CC without dealing damage). The dog ran away to the area where my own group started. Then it just skipped turns and did not attack at all.
