I believe I have solved all aspects of the Tingalf quest, but it is not clearing off my quest list. I have checked against Kiya's walkthrough for this quest, and dont think I have missed anything, but I still have "Nearby Depot", "Find Supplies of Tingalf" and "Find truth about Tingalf" showing as incomplete.

Has anyone any ideas? or know of any bugs with this quest?

OK. I only seem to have one letter.- the one to Victorio from Pedro (not sure where I got it), but I cant find a 2nd letter anywhere.

I can't remember where I picked it up, but it's the one to Victorio from Pedro. I have been back to the cave, and the sewers and there is no other note.

Look which one is missing.
Kiya

Depending on where Pedro dies the letter is hidden by the walls, patient mouse search and ALT can help.
the cave letter is on the table, under an apple.

Frenchie, I have a problem too with this quest. I do have both notes. Here's this topic. You should only bother with the solving of this quest, if lt. Robin is still present in Ars Magicana. If that isn't the case, you will never solve that quest, as he is the one you have to report to.

There's another quest associated with Tingalf that comes from Trevor in the Merchant's Guild. He asks you to find out the truth about Tingalf selling black market goods without a license. To solve this quest, you have to bring proof to Trevor that Tingalf is guilty - but what is the proof? The letters from Pedro and the other letter that Pedro drops don't work to prompt Trevor to ask you about solving his quest.

So what's the solution to this one? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kitty.gif" alt="" />

After you join the merchant guild, you can ask Trevor if there is anything you can do for him. That is when he brings up the suspected black market dealer. If you have had Tingalf arrested, you can tell him so to complete the quest.

Got the quest from Trevor after I joined the Merchant guild. Then spoke with Lt Robin to have Tingalf arrested. When I returned to speak to Trevor to complete the quest, there were no dialog options to speak to Trevor about having Tingalf arrested.

I had Tingalf arrested before going to Verdistis, so received and completed the quest with Trevor all in the same conversation.
There are no dialog choices where you can get him talking about the quest again? It sounds like you ran into a glitch with the speech options. AFAIK you shouldn't need to bring him any proof; just having Tingalf arrested should be enough.

that would work. I got a problem with a dead Rimmer (I didn't kill him- was dead when I arrived at Glenboros) that I would like a patch for too. See my other discussion thread on Rimmer.

Nope. Having Tingalf arrested isn't enough. Doesn't clear out this quest from Trevor. Even tried showing Trevor the letters from Pedro that I picked up in the Rivertown sewer - no dice.
