For not being able to controll the gloves, the crocodile is pretty good in getting close to you with the glove. Either it has no controll and shoud randomly teleport anyone or it should not teleport at all, because the teleporting crocodile is pretty odd anyhow.
The delay for sneak attack is probably a countermeasure for the fact, that you got the chance for a free first attack without the need of spending any real AP, my guess. If you exploit mechanics and play barrel collector before attacking, the first strike can be quite devestating.
