If you have Comeback Kid, Necromancy, and Pain Reflection, you are unable to be killed by enemies.

When you would die, Comeback Kid stops it. Then Pain Reflection deals its damage and Necromancy passive heals you. Even at level 1, you just stay at 2-3 HP instead of dying.

I would suggest making Pain Reflection not trigger Necromancy healing.

Doesn't Necromancy's passive fail to work if the target still has armor left? (Since it only works on Vitality?)

Comeback kid only works once per fight, doesn't it?

Comeback Kid works every time you have more than 1 HP.

The Necromancy part is stopped by armor, but otherwise continuous.

Yeah what Xvim said is true - I noticed this build last patch, but was unable to utilize it because CBK was broken. It's not *quite* as immortal as you'd think - if you take any elemental damage in addition to regular hits (like with elemental ranger) then you'll get dropped. Same applies to tick damage from burning/poison.

Like Uncanny Luck said, it doesn't save from multi-hits, though I doubt the Necromancy + Reflection combo is meant to save you multiple time in a row with Comeback Kid on an enemy turn.

Personally, the only use I've had from Comeback Kid is when fighting Dallis, it helped me avoid the one shot from Dallis's Overpower.

There isn't many fights where you are able to deal damage to vit using pain reflec as most of the time enemies attack you with their primary damage/armor (think mages hitting you with elemental and warriors with physical). Found it underwhelming unless you stack tonnes and tonnes of points in pain reflec.

Pain reflection itself is pretty broken, if I got told correctly. Having 10 points in it would make you pretty much immune to any kind of direct damage, because 100% gets reflected at this point. Never tested it myself so far, so only know it from hear-saying, so feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong.

You won't have enough points to make pain reflection 10 in the current state.

I'm quite sure that Larian would be able to spot the flaw of an ability which makes players immune to damage, so I don't think it works like that.

I'm not sure how it works myself, but if it doesn't reduce the amount of damage you take, it only reflects some of it back, then you can't be immune from harm. If it does reduce damage you take, it can be capped at 50% effectiveness or less.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't reduce damage you take, just damages the enemy for a portion of the damage you take. That said, it's super strong regardless. I could see it going down to 8% a point or something. Pretty small change, but the reduction adds up (or rather, subtracts down :P)

I don't know how instantaneous the heal from pain reflection is. If you take physical and elemental damage (with no armor) at the same time, I'm not sure if you die or if the pain reflection heals you between each damage tick. Either way, it probably should only proc once a round.

I think I recall it reflecting fire surface damage to the enemy who started the surface as of last patch (when Comeback Kid was not working).

Either that or it was Necromancy proccing off of your fire surfaces.

I am trying not to burn out playing through the start repeatedly, so I'm loathe to do another run to test.
