First of all, I’d like to say that playing on the hardest difficulty, the game sometimes seems impossible to beat. I fortunately already made a previous run, so I knew what to do, and I ended the first act. Here are a few things that occurred to me :

- There is a steep change between level 3 and level 4. At level 3, most of the fights are impossible, so you can’t earn experience the correct way, and have to tweak some fights (Understand prepare traps, put characters exactly where enemies pop, otherwise you can’t win. I don’t believe it should be mandatory to know the fight to win it. ) I appreciate challenge, but getting wrecked by bow men with 80 armor and 100 magic armor when you have 20 of each, is too much. Git gud, I know. But still.

- Some enemies chain source spells. The witch in the quest given by the ice dragon with the blood rose just wipes you with chained spell, that touches all your characters for 85 damages, and stuns all your team. Overall, source spells with AI 2.0 makes some fights really hard. Especially when you don’t have any to fight back, while the enemy has 200 armor and magic resistance, and is not alone.

But I read that you just released AI 2.0 without making balance and changes on the spells, so this is normal.

- The braccus set is always trying to get me killed. Boots cripple me, torso gets me on fire, and ring curses me. I don’t remember it was like this initially, but I might be wrong. As these are legendary, it is a bit disappointing that they are useless. But I get the point, braccus is really mean, so he doesn’t even want you to get good loots.

- As I smashed all the relics, I couldn’t get a single source point in my run. So I couldn’t open the maze barrier (Some say withermoore should have helped, but it didn’t happen, even though I had released his soul), nor could I open the braccus armory.

Now to the bugs I encountered:

- When walking in cursed fire, NPC might trigger a fight. After I beated the final boss, I was forced to kill Gareth who stepped in cursed flames. Kinda sad.

- The dwarf is sometimes too small to trigger stuffs on walls. It is funny, but I got trapped using the second portal in the maze with my dwarf. He was too small to touch the gargoyle and come back, so I had to reload the game.

- Two types of freezes :

When actions happen too fast, a character might get stuck, doing nothing but skip rounds until you reload the game. Happened a dozen times.

Sometimes the entire party and game is stuck, and you can’t do anything. You can’t even trigger the menu, so you have to alt f4 and restart the game. It happened at least 5 times.

- In some fights, enemies healed me. Now I understand why they would put rage on me, but restauration on someone that is not decaying is not an offensive spell.

- I couldn’t end the murderous gheist quest, as I had no option to end the quest by giving the ring of Migo.

- I couldn’t kill the voidwoken dweller at level 6 (It really is a tough fight), so I managed to teleport myself through the bridge on his left, and get behind him, on the path that leads to the maze without beating him. Getting close to him on this path triggers the fight, but as there is a huge wall of stones against the two of you, you can’t do anything.

- Before rescuing Gareth, I stumbled across magisters in the ruins. I manipulated them, telling them I was one of their own and that an attack occurred in fort joy to make them leave, thinking they could help their friends. I didn’t find them later in fort joy.

- When I found the three necromancers after the maze, I had the relics with me, but there was no option in the dialogs to smash it in front of them to end the quest. So I had to kill them for the experience, then smash the relics so they wouldn’t pop again (as they give no experience after repop). But it didn’t trigger dialog, and the quest wasn’t over in my journal.

My opinion: I have finished the first original sin several times, and I already had a run through the game in the beginning.

I really like what the game has become:

- AI 2.0 is great.

- I actually like the armor system, as it gives importance to your equipment. With a little balance, this will give the game a clearer strategic aspect. In the first one, I never understood what were the effect of specs on the chances of resisting some effects. Now, there is no luck, you either have magic armor, or you don’t. I prefer this.

- In spite of the increase in money, I couldn’t afford a single piece of equipment during my run, as spells were expensive. I didn't steal any money, didn't craft, all I did was sell my drops, so this might be normal.

- I like the fact that we can somehow customize recruitable characters, but as there are only a few viable classes, I can’t make my opinion on whether we should have full customization of the characters or not (As with the main character).

- The game is beautiful, and I especially love the musics. They are perfect, it really fits to the atmosphere.

- The new surface changes (The fact that ice disappears …) is most welcome.

Ps : As you might guess, english is not my native language, so I apologize for my mistakes.
