If PoE is anything like Tyranny, no. Don't get me wrong, I kinda enjoyed it, but I enjoy Original Sin more and I particularly enjoy it because it's its own thing. I'm not seeing that taking elements from something I enjoyed less is going to improve it. That's not to say that the stats and skills system couldn't do with tweaking, but that's all it needs, not wholesale replacement.
