Hey! When I go down there I cannot interact with any of the NPCs (cannot click them, only attack with ctrl + right click). I have read up about the Collar quest and it seems to have worked in the past for other people. Is this currently bugged or are there other requirements?
You mean after you have finished the trial (3 enemies and a dog) and you teleport back from the arena to the upstairs bit with the "thorny one" and so on?
I couldn't talk to them either after their little dance so I killed them all. Even this was quite hard as many times they would ignore my attacks and regenerate without engaging in combat. Had to one shot one of them to make the others engage.
The tinker took off the collar OK though. If you are having problems you can get the collars removed later anyway after leaving the prison.
I have fixed it. I have the habit of adjusting the Minimap so that north is on top - with this you I cannot interact with the NPCs. Adjusting the camera did the trick - there is a ~120° dead-angle.
