Problem is fixed when loading save - so guess it must be a running process/memory issue. I will try and take note carefully if it occurs again.
Details I can recall.
Was playing for about 1.5 hours, in a long battle (with Dallis and company). During the 1.5 hours I did do quick save / quick loads, but not that often (maybe 10 times in 1.5 hours max).
