I always play a ranged character in games because I love the tactical and positional thinking they require. In D:OS 1 the skills were too straightforward in my opinion, most hitting either one target or all of them. I'd love to see positional skills like

"piercing arrow - goes through target and hits one target behind it"

"Double shot - Shoot two target that are close to each other" OR "for X extra AP, shoot a second target next to the original target with a skill of your choice"

"Headshot (Requires high ground) - Load for one turn, then shoot a target for triple damage. Can't miss. Can be used with skills"

Other skills I'd love to see are of the summoning variety. Like a personal pet that attacks on its own every X turn and if it dies, it'll resummon itself after the battle. uncontrollable. And from Diablo 3, a stationary gun that would mimic your skills for, say, 25-50% of the damage for X turns.

These skills make ranged skills much more fun and varied!
