At the moment there is only 3 ways to get accuracy
1. Apply bless to an ally to get an additional 10%
2. Use single-handed weapons
3. Use a weapon with + accuracy bonus
The way i see it accuracy should be a legitmate concern lategame.

p.s. In that case track should be a heavier investment in either memory or AP

Plus Hothead. It's pretty limited though, yeah. I kind of like accuracy not being a big limiting factor, but if it becomes more of a concern later on, obviously they need to add more ways to improve accuracy. I don't know if I want primary stats to boost accuracy because that really hurts hybrids, but maybe wits? I dunno.

another idea is to attach it to constitution to make it a late game must

I dislike accuracy/dodge as it exists now.

You can stack Finesse to gain ever-increasing amounts of dodge, but there is no stat to stack to get more-accurate attacks. This is going to have to get fixed if Larian doesn't want 100% dodge builds once a few more levels and higher quality gear is introduced.

I'd like to be able to invest a few stat points into more accurate attacks to remove any miss chance, it really throws off planning when you get unlucky. I wouldn't cry if missing was removed entirely, but it should at least be something a player can budget against.

I don't want "late game must" attributes. Also Constitution improving your hit chance just doesn't make much sense, particularly for ranged weapons. Wits increasing hit chance makes the most sense, and also gives partial investment in it more value. Some people think wits is already too good, but I think that's more a symptom of builds (mostly rage + AP hoarding ones) that let you wipe enemies in one turn, rather than going first naturally providing a particularly massive advantage.

I don't think we'll see 100% dodge builds, but definitely you could up to 50-60%+ dodge chance with 30+ points in dex, 10 points in DW, and +dodge chance gear. As long as hit chance counters that dodge chance, that's not absolutely ridiculous, but still very strong. Several statuses could reduce dodge chance as well. For example, anything that reduces move speed (crippled, chilled, slowed), probably could reduce dodge chance as well. This will help negate dodge builds for players a bit, as well as give them options against high dodge enemies.

You can also give your party 50% dodge from 10 points in Leadership.

Another 10% from DW, 10% from Parry Master, 20% from 30 points in Finesse and 10% from gear gets you there in this patch.

This will only get worse with more gear/levels if nothing stacks to give accuracy.

A simple solution could be to make track op but give access to it alot later although this is mostly just beneficial for the player since we are more likely to level wits to avoid CC.

Another idea i have to balance it out is give blessed earth (30% hit chance to all allies) as a source skill.

Right, forgot about those other ways. Definitely need some way to counter that or reduce those numbers somewhere. It's not that any of those numbers are particularly bad in themselves (except 50% from leadership definitely is kind of ridiculous), but all stacked together it's too much. It's not even like you really have to really build for a dodge build in this case. Basically any dual wield build will naturally get at least 40% dodge without even trying that hard.

I would probably remove the dodge chance from dual wield and replace it with something else, if only to help distinguish it from finesse somewhat. Leadership dodge chance probably could be toned down to 3% a point as long as its range is increased. So 30 (finesse) + 30 (leadership) + 10 (parry master) + 10ish (gear) is 80, which is still a lot. But at least that requires a bit more directly investing in a dodge build to maximize it.

And as long as accuracy and various statuses can counter dodge, there's more room to balance even with existing numbers. There's already statuses like Mark and Rage that remove dodge chance.

I think Miss Chance should NOT be a big factor. If you are using weapons of your level and fighting enemies of your level or lower, you should stand a good chance of hitting them.

Missing in games is very frustrating, and D:OS is a tactical RPG where the difficulty is geared so that enemies can do a lot of damage and kill you quickly. I think it is better that losing a fight is based more on making poor decisions and less on getting bad dice rolls.

The way i see it the stronger miss chance is the stronger accuracy is making single-handed vs dual-wield/2 handed a viable argument.

Maybe, enemy encounters are intended to be dangerous and challenging, a weapon with high damage but low accuracy might seem balanced, but there's a fine line between "risky and worthwhile" and "too risky to use". If a weapon type misses too much, people will stop using it.

Still though, I think that there are some potential ways to do it.

Hmmm... If the Weapon Abilities gave +2% chance to hit per point, maxing the ability's 10 points can give you full accuracy for weapons one level higher, giving you an advantage, eventually. At +4% chance to hit per point, you'd only need to get it to level 5 to do the same. Getting it to level 10 would let you equip weapons 2 levels higher than your character.
