Hi everyone and Larian Devs!

Whatever the name you use. I'm on Lvl4 and the action bar design doesn't seem to help at all. I don't mean the "auto-adding" feature for new items but the impossibility to rearrange items or skills from one row to another. It's so annoying. I like to separate grenades and special arrows from potions and weapons, for instance, and the only thing I got is a looooooong row which, when full, continues in the next.

I'd love to see a way to rearrange the different rows and see them all at a glance, just the way you do with your inventory. Autosort for the action bar would be also great. The overall game experience would be much more comfortable by far.

That might be nice, yes, even though so far I never let my hotbar get so busy that I need a second.

A settings option to turn off auto-add to action bar is all I need.

The auto add was OK initially but now it also adds every potion too which is too much. Larian PLEASE don't auto add potions and it will be OK.

But maybe even better since there are multiple quickbars, can you put all skills on quickbar 1, put grenades and/or arrows on quickbar 2, put scrolls and potions on quickbar 3. This way quickbar 1 doesn't fill up with EVERYTHING, and I have to spend time moving stuff around.

BTW there are potions, resurrections scrolls and poison grenades that don't stack, meaning the quickbar assumes they are 2 different items and adds both. As an example, the resurrection scrolls we start out with is different than one of the first ones that drops. And the minor healing potions that drop seem to be different than the ones you craft or get from healer lady by cave/migo.

There was a mock someone made up prior to DOS's release. The UI in general is at best average and from what I've read it perhaps isn't even equal to the EE version and took a step back to this point.

The mock to me was right on the money.

Think of the action bar.

Say slot one you can put one of your class skills in there, say fighter skills placard.

If you want to do a fighters skill, you click that and immediately it displays from there-up vertically all your fighter skills. You now click which one of those you have to use.

Now in slot 2 you can put the Arrow placard there, you click that and then again vertically it shows all the arrow options you have and you can click which one to use.

Also be able to create some customs ones, perhaps Favs for example and you can choose which skills/inventory items show there.

So you still have one bar 10-12, but you click the category you want to display and it vertically shows you all that you have that match. Being able to display like 100 choices in two clicks always.

Oh well.

That is nice description of Pillars of Ethernity UI. Actually they use rather row than collumn becouse its more handy. Copy&paste to this game would be wise.
