We have organs and parts all over the place. and I really want to play a true necromancer.
so blow are some concepts for necromancer type "summons" these being mindless undead that you can use as cannon fodder.
:creature:
info: created from the remains of any living beast the creature is one of the more gruesome necromancer creations being just stitched together remains of other beasts. these are generally the first thing a necromancer creates do to how common the parts can be.
function: is crafted by putting body parts together with twine and string. requires a special crafting station to create. said station has 8 slot.
basic craft
requires: head, armsx2, legsx2, torso, heart, twine.
info the base of all creatures. the fresher the parts the better the build, note it is not recomended to use darf legs with a lizard torso and arms. unless you want it to crawl.
outside of the base craft your creature can be given modifications that change how it functions.
extra arms
requires: unliving creature (the basic craft), two arms, and twine/string.
bonus: can hold two bows/crossbows or four swords.
flesh armor
requires: flesh chunksx6, unliving creature, twine/stringe.
bonus: has a lot more health, turns into a tank
Explosive chest
requires: unliving creature, elemental barrel, twine, nails.
bonus: you can tell the creature to attack its self, ripping open the barrel and spewing the contents all over the place. can only do this once and it kills the creature.
note: gives torso back.
intelligent creature
requires: unliving creature, head(from any NPC), potion of memory (rare potion if drink it gives you EXP or something, at least that is the idea).
bonus: creature is counted as a party member instead of a mindless summon. note you only get a few chances to make these, the first would use the head of the lizard that gets zapped at the beginning. (they would be passive agressive towards you and depending on how you play it eventually go rouge or come to terms with what they are)
Once you stitch together your creature you must then bring it to life. to do this you must know a spell called curse of undeath.
::::::::::
SPELL INFO
Curse of undeath
AP cost: 2
type: necromancy/source
requirement: 1 source point or one black rose.(only required if cast on the dead)
info: has two main effects if cast on the living gives them the zombie effect until cured or spell times out (3 turns). if cast on the dead will raise them as a mindless minion for 4 turns worth of time.
if cast on a crafted creature gives a follower, though you can only have one of these. casting it on another crafted creature causes the old one to go limp. (you can use this to your advantage to swap creatures depending on situation)
::::::::::::
note, creatures can gain levels and even a dumb one can regain their intelligence over time, though not their memories (unless you craft an intelligent one)
Also unlike other summons you can equip your creature with gear, though they can only take weapons, head armor, and chest armor. and outside of the flesh beast variant they can only hold 20 weight of extra though the flesh beast can hold 150 weight.
creatures are your base line undead, the easiest to make though the are the hardest to get all parts for. bellow are ideas for other undead followers.
unlike the creature the undead bellow you can have near infinite of, though they do not last forever and will eventually fall apart and die.
undead thrawl
info: unlike the creature the thrawl is a temporary undead with no ability to remember jsut a mindless want to attack anything seen as hostile. do to their nature they do not last long.
gaining: just cast curse of undeath on a corpse. curse of undeath takes 2 AP to cast and uses either a source point or a black rose to bring back the dead.
skeleton
info: requires stripping a body of flesh, other hten that the same as a thrawl. has the bonus of being able to carry the bones allowing you to drop and summon for quick armies.
note: most animals can not be turned into skeleton soldiers unlike with thrawls.
weight
human/elf:10 weight
lizard: 12 weight (has a higher durability)
dwarf: 8 weight
dog: 5 weight
bonus note: skeletons will pick up weapons if you drop one next to them before summoning. where as thrawls just use what ever they had when they where alive.
note: curse of undeath can bring upto 4 skeletons to life, or a single thrawl.
