I have a question that's bugging me a bit.
They said there will be map creation, but what exactly do they mean? Do they mean the world map creation or the location map?
For example, Fort Joy is what I would call a location map, and world map is the 2D map where you can see the party moving from location A to B in GM Mode.
Also in case there will be a location map creator, does anyone know how big it is? Do we get to create everything, from cliffs to forests?

most likely they were talking about the modding tools which you can use to make maps like fort joy with. world maps are - as far as i can tell - simple pictures (like ms paint stuff)

edit: with the modding tools you can build almost anykind of map (landscape) you want

Is there a limit to how large we can make the maps?

You can make fairly gigantic maps with the old editor, probably even bigger with the new editor. Just think of the size of Cyseal map area, and you can probably make even bigger than that, though there was a limit of RAM usage in the old editor. It's better to split up maps into mediumish areas instead of one gigantic area anyway.
