- non-action - simple story - no "hero saves the world" - no god-like status at the end of the adventure - no insanely strange, huge, big, ugly, strong monsters within the game ...
As much as I like the latest and greatest graphics... yeah. Story I'm more flexible about, but I'm less keen on combat than quiet exploration and interaction; and I'm especially not enthusiastic about boss monsters, who are usually more an exercise in tedium than a worthy challenge.
And definitely agreed about The Saviour Of The World kind of thing: as much as I like the Elder Scrolls games, it's tedious rising to be the top of everything just in order to do the various quests. It makes the world feel a much smaller place.
