I was just trying something but it does not seem to work.
I wanted to have the warrior's enrage ability with the savage sortilege trait to have very high chance to crit (50% minimum for spells). But so far it never worked.

Is it intended ? Is it an issue ? Has someone else tried it and had it to work somehow ?

Thanks for any insight.

Well think about the mechanics of what you are trying to do. The trait gives you spell crit equal to 50% of your melee crit chance if I remember correctly. Enrage gives you a guaranteed physical dmg crit. But when you cast enrage I don't THINK it gives you +100% crit chance, I think it just makes sure your next physical hit is a crit.

So the issue isn't that the trait is not working correctly, I think it is because of the way Enrage makes your next hit a crit. Because if it wasn't this way, then it would be basically the most OP build because enrage goes away when you hit and if you were just casting spells you would have 50% crit chance for the entire duration.

I hope that makes sense

Enrage makes all your standard attacks and weapon skills crit and increases the chance of crit of spells by +50% with the savage sortilege talant. This means that about half of your skills that do not scale with weapon will crit. Some effects like burning or moving through hazardous environment cannot crit.

It clearly doesn't for spells I have never had a crit with it.

In the character sheet it shows as +100% crit chance but apparently this is not considered for spells. Which is fine by me for balance purposes, I just wanted to know if anyone had always had it working at some point.
