It is confirmed we can change the time of day (including to night. NIGHT. Hear that everyone? NIGHT), but can we also control the weather? I think it would be neat if we could make it rain lightly, moderately, or heavily (which also includes lightning and thunder or snow. To prevent it from raining in houses that are built seamlessly into an external area, we could just paint down something called "Weather Blocker".

I would like to presume that's going to be in there along side with the daytime.

I looked carefully in many of the GM videos and couldn't see it. Hopefully it will be added though.

I haven't seen anything about weather manipulation either and would love to be able to.
Perhaps some talented modders will be able to expand on the GM client sort of like the DMFI did for NwN.

This vid mentions rain (Around 02:50) but I'm not sure if he just means the rain ability and water surface tho..

That video seems to be using footage from this:

Environmental "mood" doesn't show rain frown

It might be possible. Most of the UI was defined via XML files in NWN; DOS 1 uses Iggy (basically Flash) which was not accessible by scripts. We don't know how DOS 2 will handle this.

We'll have to see what we can work with after release.

Environment mood panel uses the atmospheres that we have set as Game Master atmospheres in the editor.
It's a matter of a click and a name.
The video was made a long time ago with what we had at that time (which was almost nothing).

People can create as much atmospheres as they want in the editor and enable them for Game Master.
Including Rain, yes.

That the GM can change the atmosphere to night? It was shown in the early wave of videos accompanying the announcement on Kickstarter.
