People being bad at managing electrified blood and water often comes up on this forum.
Just learn how the different elements interact and how to lay out the battlefield to your advantage.
Oh that's not at all the problem. I didn't have issues defeating the enemies themselves (I did beat DOS 1 after all). I'm just saying that in certain niche instances, the environmental effects can force the player's hand in a way that feels less satisfying than the first game.
I should mention that I beat this section of the game. I purposefully tested multiple scenarios to see what could happen. Thanks for the meaningful reply!
