I had this bug recently when I started again playing DOS while waiting DOS2
Basically after putting "famous" VR helmet near starting beach, after taking it off wireframe graphics stay.
I tried reloading, restarting and all usual stuff. It did not work.
Since it was close to start of game I just deleted save, remade characters and kept myself nowhere near that helmet.
It is not problem atm but I just thought that it is something you folks should know about
