In alpha I took zero wits on my characters and was able to go first in every fight and find all the discoverable secrets with clearmind + wits gear. Zero reason to take it.
Clear mind will only make one person goes first unless you have everyone in your party with one point in Pyro just for that skill ?
And if you find all secret with that spell which isn't super long duration, you either have to stop walking to cast Clear mind all the time (Which I would find annoying and a waste of time) or most likely means you already know where all the secrets are so... Not everyone will play with a guide to point out all secrets.
