I'm pretty certain they won't carry over: I think that's on record, and so far they've been incompatible between the various alpha versions.
The early-access game is certainly very playable but I would expect a lot of changes between the current one and the released game, whether the extra origins or stuff like crafting being significantly more comprehensive. I wouldn't be surprised if elements of the story and locations have been tweaked or even changed entirely.
