And why for them to wear mask..... well I guess you would not be disturbed at all if you see you "friendly neighbor butcher" having a skull instead of normal head???

Exactly this... if you watch their youtube video explaining this, he delves straight into the reasoning behind the fact that if you aren't going to face rip and use a mask as an undead, most NPC townsfolk will run away from you // not trade w/ you etc...

Why people come up with a complaint for nearly every dev decision ever made is beyond me. They introduce sometime a day old and already slew of cry babies and whiners.

He could walk around in town just fine as long as they where wearing a helmet and clothes that covered the body and face. So really didn't seem like they needed the mask that badly.

And the issue isn't really the ability to wear the mask. The issue is gaining the racials of the face you are wearing, and that every partymember, regardless of if they are undead or not, can wear it. As well as you are able to make masks for everyone.

So whats the point of picking a race in the beginning. You can just change it whener you feel like it (when you have made the masks).

What does it matter that you can change your race? Like really? Essentially unless you save scum (which is a choice anyway) you're either playing as your real race or currently acting as another which will force you to act as X race whenever an event pops up.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter. For example, if you had one of every race in your group already then the mask is already pointless. If you're all elves however but decide to change races on whim with the mask, it still doesn't matter.

Mostly though I don't think you get to pick the cosmetics of your race with the mask so that may be the may detriment for most. At any rate I just don't see the problem.
