I hope that's in there, or will be added, because giving your players the ability to summon a ghost/zombie/skeleton you helped or something (like what was done in DOS1 many a time) would be really useful. But it would only really work if you can customize the looks and clothes of a character and then turn them into a summoning spell.

In the stream with Matt Mercer, he was giving a chicken companion to another player so, I think you can give any creature as companion to a player, not sure you can customize appearance too much, but I have no idea to be honest.

You could customize all skills stat and equipment however.

You can right click any NPC or monster and tell it to "Follow the party", but that's different from a summoning spell. A summoning spell allows the player to control their summon directly, whereas this work around does not.

GMAddon1: Adds almost every single monster and NPC from the main campaign into GM mode, plus a few large custom maps to use in GM mode.

A GM could make a summon skill, but they would have to make it outside of the GM mode in the editor. Not too difficult, but not streamlined within the GM mode itself.

I see, thanks for the precision.

That is sad. But then again I can't think of a single game with a GM mode that lets you make your own spells yet alone a summon.
