Just finished downloading and installing the game overnight. Was really excited to play this morning. When I boot the game on it opens, my screen goes black, then it shows me the loading screen. Red bar loads for a bit and, when it's done, I'm shifted to what I'm assuming is the main screen with Zeus 2.0 on the left. There's music and animation for about a half second, then nothing. Everything freezes and the game crashes. The only thing on the screen is a box asking about a profile (?) and not much else.

I went through the usual reboot and try again sequence, but to no avail. Not sure where to go from here.

I downloaded another player's profile/graphic settings and that started the game in windowed mode which doesn't crash... until I move my cursor over the game.

Any solutions to this?

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game? Firewalls can cause conflicts (generally on startup or loading screens) and overlays from graphics tweaking/monitoring programs or chat programs can also caused issues.
For example, a few people have had BitDefender block the game from being able to create files and folders. In that case, including the both the game executable and Larian Studios My Documents folder in BitDefender's trusted app and directory sections will fix the problem (Advance Threat Defense, Ransomware Protection / Safe Files, Application Access).

Did you try the clean boot and clean reinstall of graphics driver suggestions in the bug topic you replied to?

The game uses profiles to be able to keep options and sets of saves separate (for different playthroughs, etc).
