Went ahead and got the early edition on GOG a few days ago, and it's really got me excited for the release tomorrow...!

Alpha game is running beautifully on my RX-480 running the latest Crimsons (17.9.1) in Windows10x64 Preview build 16281 (Installing 16288 as I type this)--runs wonderfully well with my current 8-core AMD cpu and 16GB's system ram. Running the game at 2560x1440, triple buffered, and it's very nice.

I'll start over tomorrow, but what is interesting is that I've started the game twice and each playthrough has been noticeably different--
except maybe for getting that pesky cat killed by the guard when his plaintive meows get too annoying...;) That is a nice consistency!I'm glad there is such an interesting way to solve that irritation.
Anyway, the game plays much different depending on how I build my own character & how I configure the NPCs I pick up. First game I picked up Lose (sp?) and configured her as a wizard--
second game through Lose is killed in the first fight...simply by being wrong place, wrong time
. Then I configured each of the
NPCs differently in the second game and it made a big difference in game play.
Just to say, very nice...There were of course many consistencies--but the difference in play between the two starts was very surprising & pleasing!

Got into the prison twice--
first game through hatch and in the second game through the cavern at the North end of the island with the T glove.
OK...that's it--looking great so far! Now...I need to remember just where that hatch is...;) (Not that I have to, of course--I'm just a completionist, sort of.)

I'm never wrong about anything, and so if you see an error in any of my posts you will know immediately that I did not write it...;)
