i buy the first one and i love great rpg, i play with my friend all the campaign, but the coop system is the negative thing in my opinion.
For example in divinity the host must create the characters and the second player pick one! my question is in this sequel every player create your character and play the campaign together?

sorry english is not my native language.

Once the host starts the game, and enters character creation, players can join in and create their own characters to journey with the host. Once everyone has finished creating their characters, then the adventure begins. From what I've gathered -- and I haven't personally tested this -- the only time that you can't create your own character is if you join *after* the game has started and the host has finished character creation, in which case you take control of one of the NPC companions in the host's party.

To summarize, if you join the game during character creation, you can make your own character. If you join late, you can't.

In the first host does not have to create both either.

That is not true. In the first game you can join when the host is in the character creation screen and then you also get your own character creation screen to make the 2nd main character.

I confirm this to be true as well. I have done it this way in EE
