Hello, I have been continually getting the error and crash to desktop: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I have been getting this even since the early access and have not been able to find any solutions. My graphics drivers are fully up to date and I have tried to revert to older versions to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the crashes almost make the game unplayable. Some system info is listed below:

I have a very similar computer and had the exact error. After spending the whole weekend trying to solve it, I came across something that works and has helped me run the game in a pretty stable manner. I also tried older drivers and am currently running 359.06. That isn't what fixed the problem however since it still crashed.

I did find the solution that works here:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/...ponding-and-has-successfully-recovered-/

The gist of the solution was to:
- Download and use MSI Afterburner (here: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm) and lower both the "Core Clock" and "Memory Clock" options by around 100 (so they say -100). Apply and close.

This is what has absolutely allowed me to play and enjoy the game. I guess using less computing power might not overload the gpu, but who know. I might not even need the older driver, but i'm not changing a thing after this. One caveat is that you have to start afterburner and do this every time you restart your computer. Otherwise the game has crashed on me.

I hope this helps you. This was a frustrating weekend for me until I found this.

When computer graphics cards stop responding due to low frame rate then we may face " display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered " error.

Solution 1: You need to check your Power supply because most of the time a less power delivered to the video card and cause this kind of problem. For this purpose, You must follow this chain. Control panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Expand PCI Express > Expand “Link State Power Management where both options should be off.

Solution 2: Use Device Manager to Install default graphics drivers. Solution 3: Sometimes its due to the hardware problem and most of the time RAM might not be correctly attached.
