So, to start this off, i'm a Turkish guy who is living in Poland. Yes, this is mostly about Steam's policy, but i still want to state this issue. Original Sin 1 was my all time favorite game. I have no doubt Original Sin 2 has the same quality, and even more. But! The issue is, the game is too expensive for a regular Polish person. 45 euros mean 192 PLNs, which we use as currency. Whereas, i also lived in Turkey for 19 years, so i know the economy there. Turkish Lira and Polish Złoty both has almost the same value, and even though the regular person in Poland gains a bit more money than in Turkey, still the pricing isn't fair in any way. In Turkey, the game is 75 Turkish Liras. Which equals to 18,26 euros. In Poland, a country which isn't too different economically than Turkey, it is a rocking 45 Euros. I don't see any fairness here. To give more detail, minimum wage in Poland is 473 Euros, and the minimum wage in Turkey is 432 Euros, when converted from Turkish Lira. You see, different is very small. Yet the price gap for this game in these two countries are huge. Even though i can afford buying this game, i don't feel it would be justified. This is not at all an issue pointed at the developers, it's an issue pointed at Steam, because they still didn't do anything to solve this problem for Polish steam users. Also, I'm positive Divinity Original Sin 2 has a much bigger playerbase in Poland than it has in Turkey. It's a completely wrong policy which steam is using. Since this is the sequel to my all time favorite game, i don't want to buy it from a shady retailer, i want Larian to gain all the benefits from my purchase, since they deserve every single bit of it. Thanks for reading, i don't expect it to be solved just because i whined about it here, but it's always good to have a little bit of hope every now and then. Please excuse my English, i'm not perfect at it. If the post is in the wrong section, please move it to the right one.
