DHL is cheap and terrible.
They're not cheap when it comes to stinging you for their import processing fee: it's often much more expensive than the postage itself, as well as their competitors' charges. Though you kind of imagine that basic admin charges would be included in their up-front fees like it is with anyone else, and they're all equally guilty of that horrid little scam...
