OK, more thanks! So, in general, Thieving is not very important to the game? I know it may help unlock some doors and chests, but after reading your replies I assume its not that great of a skill to focus on, is it?
If that was a reply to me, you don't seem to understand what I was saying. No one has said that.
Yes, thievery is useful, there are plenty of locked chests to open. At least one party member should put points into it. But the chests will tend to have loot scaled to the area or your character level. You're not going to be grabbing the equivalent of Power Armor at level 1, so if that's what you're expecting, dial those expectations back.
