Is anyone working on this? I've started and can probably get it out tomorrow. There is just a handful of parameters to change to get them to show in GM.

Really appreciate you doing this and I'm sure everyone else will appreciate it.

The real question is .. is it possible to get the Game Master Item Generator into the main game (story) ? Or at leats its option on changing stats. Its just a quality of life mod

That kind of deserves its own thread as it's not related to this. Let's not hijack threads.

I'll be working on this most of the afternoon tomorrow. I need to know what requests people have, in terms of priority monsters. Also, when using a monster pay attention to whether or not it can use a particular item as it seems some monsters just don't function with some weapons. This is likely why they weren't included at this time.

TL;DR there are gonna be some bugs but start telling me what you want and I'll update the thread as I work on this. Likely multiple publishes to Steam workshop tomorrow.

Is this a project to eventually get most (if not all) of the base game's monster into DM mode or are you hand-picking a couple to put in? Because the former would be absolutely amazing, but even the latter would be quite nice!

e: Also, could you tell what those parameters are that need to be changed?

Thanks a lot. I think the most requested monsters so far are globlins, and I personally would really appreciate it because my stories are not complete yet because goblins are missing.

Talking about the goblins seen in this video: https://youtu.be/YJyXQxgNVhU?t=30m20s

I wouldn't mind helping you with this project, if you'd like to have every single monster converted. Are you editing their entries under 'stats' in the editor? Are you just checking a box to enable them in GM mode or is there more to it? I haven't looked at that section of the editor yet. Just been building a massive area.

After you've done however many of the critters and NPCs you desire to, if you pass it to me, I'll go through and get any extra ones and update it. Not sure if you want an extra set of hands working on it with you or not, but it seems like a HUGE task to get everything, so I am willing to pitch in some time.

First release adds the available goblin models to GM mode. In initial testing the goblins can use 1h, dual wield, and bows.

This is a bit more complicated and I need some input from you.

I updated the add-on again today with the complete Orc they have available. You can use it now in your campaigns.

However I assume you're speaking of all the other Orc animations within the editor? What in particular do you want access to? The female orc, shaman, etc. I'm going to have to build from scratch and that will take some time. Please try to explain what you need in as much detail as possible.

Great work bob!

I noticed that the goblins and the Orc don't have any skills by default. Is it much work to add some?

The one model is good good enough for me I'm not so worried about animations etc. Ill ask just because I wont be home for hours. Can the orc have armor and weapons added? I know it won't change its appearance but when I was trying to do it myself I noticed you could set groups like human male etc for the gesr they use.

From all the yeard of EQ, WOW, D&D, etc. I just couldnt get my mind around not having orcs.

Right click your monster and select "manage". Go to the skills page. Then press "k" to open the GM skills page. Drag and drop the skills you want this monster to have!

Yes, you can give them equipment. Weapons will show if they have animations for it, armor will not.

I just went to figure out how to do it and it's ridiculously easy. I've already made several playable myself.

Simply browse characters in the resource manager (icons of purple stick figure), click on them, in the left hand panel at the top it will show a CHECK MARK symbol. Click that to be able to edit it and then scroll down to where it says "GM". There are two categories below it. Simply put whatever you want there for where you want to the monster to show up in the GM creatures directory. So easy anyone can do it.

I am going through and literally doing every creature in the game right now. Might take me a couple hours, but should be finished before tomorrow.
