I can't go more than 20 minutes without the game either completely locking up my system or crashing. This is really annoying me because the rest of my co-op team is waiting for me to solve the issue.
I've done all the easy stuff like making sure anti-virus/firewall/background programs aren't messing with the game. I've verified the game data and done a fresh install and yet the same crash keeps happening. In the event viewer it says that
nvwgf2vmx.dll is at fault.
Since that is an nvidia file I reinstalled the drivers. Not fixed. So I reinstalled them again, this time using driver sweeper to wipe out any trace of the old drivers. Game works for 45 minutes then goes right back to crashing every 10.
I play a bunch of other games and none have this problem.
I'm out of ideas short of reinstalling windows and if I do that and still have the issue I might go insane.
