We spent a lot of time and a lot of tweaking only to get much of what we learned nerfed. The leveling part of playing an elf was having to have enough memory slots; now one has to put points into the classes. Much of the skills require more action points. And the really "fun" part is the frustration of the enemy NOT being held to the same issue. For example: there was electric stunning on the ground. Every time we moved, we got stunned but the gators got to move freely and went to town hitting us. I get the parity part between classes but there should also be parity between enemies and heroes. Everything we learned now no longer holds. What was the point of buying the game if the game changed so drastically?

And exactly what reward did pregame purchasers get? At the very least, we should have been able to carry on our characters (with equipment and armor and skills) that we worked so hard attaining.

Again, this is like playing a new game which perhaps wouldn't have been so disappointing if we hadn't had so many months and so many characters playing a game we learned to play.
