EDIT: Actually, I just checked the OS2 concept art folder, and yes there is a Malady file. Almost the same files can be seen in the artbook. TBH I had imagined her completely differently from seeing her in-game, I'm not sure I like it. =/
(I guess that's the old problem book readers know by experience: Your imagination usually creates a quite specific image of a book's character that usually does not fit a later movie rendition at all, which leads to major disappointment.)
I wonder if she's the same VA who did Ygerna in Divinity 2: from memory (okay, my memory is not reliable) they sound quite similar. Then again she also sounds a bit like Alyn Shir from Kingdoms of Amalur, though I guess Ygerna is more likely.
Alyn Shir was my first thought too! And she had already turned my knees to jelly the moment I heard her for the first time in Amalur... (such a great and horribly underrated game!)

Er, obviously spoilers for anybody who hasn't played Divinity 2 yet.
Oh, and yeah, Amalur was terribly underrated: one of my favourite games of its time, so interesting and atmospheric. Such a pity that stupid corporate shenanigans killed it off before it really got off the ground. It also has one of my favourite ever video game characters, Rast Brattigan, who was so cheerfully useless.

(And yeah, while not 100% sure I believe that Alyn Shir's voice is a bit too deep to be the same actress... -- I'm convinced that Malady and Ygerna share the same voice actress now though.)
