Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Elrath's Cellar (Harvest Disaster Quest)

I'm hot on the trail of the scoundrel that poisoned the harvest. I spoke to the good(?) doctor Elrath and he said someone stole his key to the cellar in the Blue Boar Inn where poison was stored. I don't trust him.... so, I broke into his house, figured out the lock sequence (Lamps) and got into his cellar. I keep getting killed by a magical beast, though -- I can't gobble potions fast enough to even hurt him. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

So, my question is, am I doomed to wait and come back after I've gained a LOT more strength? Or is there another way to find out what's in that last room without fighting the beast? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

no, just go and solve some easier quests, kill some monsters, gain a level or two, learn better spells, get a better weapon. your not on a timer. it will be there when you get back. good luck.

If you have it, use freeze. Watch out for the traps around the table though.
