Even with a very high stat in in their category, persuasion just fail.

For example, talking with the flaming pig.

I have 19 finesse with persuasion (lizard). Tried the other choice, they failed too.

This used to work all the time during EA so it's weird that it fails now even with a very high stat compared to what the other side has.

its a dice roll... having a higher number doesnt guarentee success.. just makes it more likely.

Ah so it was changed from being reliable to dice roll :V

Have just beaten lvl 13 npc by lvl 11 character with my wits at 10 vs his 23

That is ridiculous

did you have persuasion? persuasion adds 5 points(i believe might be wrong on the number) to all checks when using dialogue.. so for each point in persuasion your wit would be 5 higher..
