yes it only scales with summoning.. however it gets a tremendous boost after reaching level 10 summoning and becomes a "champion incarnate" it becomes a giant demon thing and its stats go up massively..
my incarnate is at 800 magic/physical armor and around 700 hp and deals like 300-400 damage per attack.. so yeah its pretty good considering i myself am also dealing damage.
granted that is with the normal incarnate.. blood incarnate gets a +25% bonus to both armor values and hp.
