Yes, it was stated that there would be no rewards or taking of previous characters to the finished game. Which is fine except we got almost a whole different game. So many of the rules were changed making this a game that all our time tweaking and learning from useless. There should have been SOMETHING for those who supported this game from the get go. If they had told us that we would be playing a game of a few hours and have to relearn all the tactics and rules when the finished product came out, I wonder how many would buy what amounted to a tiny game. I certainly will never do this again. Far better to get the finish game where I start from scratch so that everything I learn won't be thrown out the window.
