Hello,

I have a bug where my main character can't initiate dialogue with NPC. Not even my own party members.

Furthermore when trying to start an Arena fight in the Undertavern by talking to Arran, the Raucous One he tells me that my companions are busy and to come talk to him later when they are not busy. My party is not doing anything and standing right there.

Can anything be done about this?

EDIT: After some research I found out that this bug seems to be caused by an NPC called Nicholas having a lovely time lying on the grass amidst a picnic in the middle of Driftwood. The dastardly bastard even has the gall to comment on the beauty of the day as he ruins your play-through.

I am reverting to a save file 4 hours in the past to avoid this.

I have the exact same issue. My main character cannot initiate a dialogue or get into combat. I do recall also talking to the Nicholas character in driftwood before this happened.
I will try reverting my save to before the encounter. I'll update this post if that solves the issue.

Any solution to this yet? I have the same issue... one of my characters is bugged and I've played with him like this for maybe 4hours +. So no good save files for me :((
